Secret Beach may no longer be quite so secret, but it remains a quieter alternative to Mirissa’s main beach and is well worth exploring.
Located beyond the rocky headland of Parrot Rock, the cove can be reached by a short walk through the palms or by tuk-tuk. The journey from Ayu by TARA takes approximately 10 minutes by tuk-tuk.
With its rocky shoreline, clear waters and quieter atmosphere, Secret Beach is a lovely spot for a relaxed swim and snorkelling. We recommend bringing water and a small snack, as facilities at the cove are limited.
For a more peaceful experience, visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon when the light is softer and the beach is at its most tranquil.
